The highly anticipated Starfield will be officially released in a few hours to all players who have purchased the standard version or intend to play through Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service.
However, as it's no secret, an early access version is now available and according to statistics gathered by Streams Charts, Starfield has surpassed Baldur's Gate III and The Last of Us Part II on Twitch and has become one of the most popular games on the platform.
According to the Streams Charts service, on its first day of early access, Starfield managed to stay ahead of Baldur's Gate III and The Last of Us Part II in terms of views on Twitch. Streamers were followed by a maximum of 550,000 viewers. And overall there were 3.5 million hours of views.
At its launch, Baldur's Gate III registered 3, 7 million hours watched and 481,500 peak viewers on launch day. Starfield also surpassed Diablo IV in hours watched.
To date, Hogwarts Legacy is Twitch's most popular single-player game of all time with 1.27 million viewers. In second place we have Cyberpunk 2077 followed by Elden Ring.
With the definitive launch of Starfield in a few hours, there are great chances that the game will record a new number, let's wait!
