Last week, journalists who tested and played Starfield shared their thoughts on the game, which registered an 87 Metascore on Metacritic, which ended up generating a lot of discussion on the internet.
And as it's no secret, Starfield is a game that will be released exclusively for the Xbox Series X|S on consoles, leaving the PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch out.
However, according to Matt Frary, senior director of public relations at Bethesda, a small number of critics have requested a code for Starfield on PS5.
“Now that it's the weekend… a shout out to the small group of reviewers who sincerely requested a PS5 code. I may not have responded, but know that… you made me laugh.”
In another post, Matt Frary makes it clear that this is not a way to criticize the console, but a way to get attention from people who simply don't pay attention to their own work.
So if you're a journalist or content creator, it's best to do some research beforehand to find out exactly what platforms such a game is on. will be released.
Starfield will be released on PC and Xbox consoles on September 6, 2023. The game also arrives Day-one via Xbox Game Pass.
