The long-awaited Forza Motorsport is finally approaching its official launch in October and recently developer Turn 10 held a “Forza Monthly” to reveal news.
In addition to the news, Creative Director Chris Esaki also confirmed that Forza Motorsport does not support Splitscreen Multiplayer in release.
According to Chris Esaki, this is due to Turn 10's heavy investment in developing new graphical assets and the complete overhaul of the game's rendering engine. Turn 10 has not revealed exactly when this mode will be coming to the game.
Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that the game will not feature a spectator mode, as Turn 10 does not believe that having players occupying players in race-only featured multiplayer events is in line with their vision for the multiplayer experience.
Chris Esaki also confirmed that players will not bea> able to compete against AI-controlled opponents in multiplayer events in featured due to the potential impact on its safety rating.
Forza Motorsport launches October 10, 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, in addition to arriving day-one via the Xbox Game service Pass.
