Activision confirms Call of Duty
Recently Activision officially confirmed after several rumors and leaks that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be the newest game in the franchise and arrives later this year.
And even before its announcement, it was stated that originally Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III would be a kind of “big update” for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, however, looks like Activision's plans have changed.
Now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be a full game and as expected, it will also be sold at full US price $70, being labeled a “premium release”.
“Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a fully premium release and will be priced at $70. There will be no upgrade pricing and it is not an expansion.”
“As mentioned in several Activision Blizzard's quarterly conference calls, the $70 is a premium release. It will be priced at $70,” an Activision spokesperson tells CharlieIntel.
And if you bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and think it will receive some sort of discount when purchasing your copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the answer is no.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is scheduled to release on November 10th and should coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
