Ford has officially published the configurator for the 2024 Mustang, giving future buyers and enthusiasts the opportunity to understand what the new model will be like and which accessories they can purchase and install. The configurator is currently only available for the American site and it is not clear if it is when this model will also arrive in Italy (and in Europe).
The American configurator includes six configurations with which to customize the Mustang, starting from entry-level Ecoboost up to premium Dark Horse; the difference between the versions is wide, with a really important price range. Ecoboost starts at almost 31,000 dollars, while the most valuable trim level lands at just over 61,000 dollars.
The launch of the new Mustang is envisaged in four different steps: the first, the one commented on in this news, envisages the release of the configurator with only some configurable elements, the second (April 17) will grant more details, the third (May) new images and accessories and, finally, the fourth (June) will unlock all the options. The most performing version is the Dark Horse Premium which now reaches 480 horsepower (with the classic 5.0 V8 combined with automatic or manual gearbox).
--> Playing with the configurator we managed to make a configuration worth over 70 thousand dollars starting, obviously, from the most expensive set-up and installing almost all the accessories available. At the moment the configurator only provides for the FastBack model, it is not excluded that over the next few months the possibility of configuring the Roadster variant may also be unlocked. We remind you that Ford Mustang, also in the Ecoboost version with a 317 horsepower engine, falls within the territory of the super tax in Italy and therefore requires the disbursement of around 960 euros per year.
