Vinland Saga: the manga on hiatus due to creative issues
The update comes from the author himself who wants to reassure enthusiasts that his health is not in question, but the pause in the manga is due to dissatisfaction with his drawings. The same author, on the other hand, adds that he is sure he will soon find the right path and return soon.At the moment there are no rumors of an indefinite break, therefore it is possible that the serialized manga monthly between the pages of Afternoon ( Kodansha ) will return in a short period. We recall that the author himself declared last summer that the work was close to the finish line:
Europa, Eleventh Century. The Viking peoples are now an unstoppable force and no coast of the continent can be said to be safe from dragon-prowed ships. The epic narrative of Vinland Saga begins, in which the Great History and the personal stories of a group of characters intertwine, such as the young Thorfinn, whose only purpose is to quench his thirst for revenge, and Askeladd, cunning head of a torma of Vikings. From the capable hands of Makoto Yukimura, a story of war and strong passions that catapults the reader into the bloody and violent world of medieval Europe.
