The call took stock on upcoming games in 2023 for the Warner Bros gaming division. “There are many games in the pipeline this year, including Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” CEO David Zaslav said during the call. A decidedly unexpected announcement, which was not accompanied by any trailer or press release.
Ed Boon, creator of the series, also commented on the news with a twitter that raised some doubts about the modus operandi of the Discovery group. “Have you also heard the announcement of Injustice 3?”, the words of the creator of the series. In short, at this point it is very probable that Warner Bros. has decided to announce the title exclusively by mistake, perhaps with the CEO who has committed a lightness.
