One Piece Odyssey
As we reported a few weeks ago, One Piece Odyssey will receive a free demo within days of its official launch. In a video posted on BandaiNamco's YouTube channel, the producer of the title explained to us in detail what we should expect from this trial version of the RPG inspired by the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his companions.
The demo of Indeed, One Piece Odyssey will allow us to try the first two hours of the game. This trial version will therefore catapult us to the beginning of the story, after that Luffy and his crew found themselves on an apparently deserted island following a storm. According to Katsuaki Tsuzuki, producer of the game, the demo will be useful both for all those who have pre-ordered the game and for the undecided. Indeed, we will be able to try the RPG mechanics for free and explore the first parts of this scenario, also testing the dynamic fights offered by the Bandai Namco title.
Additionally, the One Piece Odyssey demo will allow players to keep their saves and carry them over to the full version of the title. Therefore, all those who try Bandai Namco's new RPG in advance will be able, in fact, to start their adventure two days before the title is actually on the market. Tsuzuki adds that there will be no substantial differences between the demo and the first hours of the final version but adds that, being an RPG, many of the elements that will make the game unique can only be unlocked later.
Finally, the One Piece Odyssey demo (which you can pre-order on Amazon) will be available starting January 10, 2023, two days after the official launch of the title, on January 12, 2023. At the end of the video where Tsuzuki showed the details of this test version, the producer also added that we must expect another trailer shortly before the release of this new adventure by Lufy and his companions.
