“ Barcelo Refresh ” is the code name by which the processors of the Ryzen 7030 series are indicated, designed to be used in portable and light computers. From an architectural point of view, it is an update of the Barcelo Ryzen 5000 chips, with the addition of some optimizations aimed at maximizing performance.
In particular, the Ryzen 7 7730U model has recently been spotted in the new Lenovo notebook line coming in 2023, as reported by Weibo. As for the specifications, the CPU, based on the Zen 3 architecture, features 8 cores and 16 threads, has a base frequency of 2.0GHz (the same as the Ryzen 7 5825W) and 16MB of L3 cache, all with a TDP of 15W. We don't know what the boost clock is, but it is possible that it is around 4.5GHz, as well as the predecessor. Accompanying the CPU cores will also be a Vega-class integrated GPU, with 8 compute units or 512 cores. Even in the latter case we can only assume the clock frequencies, which shouldn't deviate much from the previous 1.8GHz, so be a maximum of 2.0GHz.
