Will Elden Ring be the next triple A to have Ray Tracing?

In addition to a probable new project linked to Armored Core, it is not excluded that Elden Ring will not return to being at the center of FromSoftware's attention. On the other hand, the game is a sort of turning point for the Japanese development team, which saw the success achieved with the Dark Souls series and also reached a new audience thanks to the game's open world structure. As reported on Twitter, in fact, the latest Elden Ring update for PC would contain two strings of very interesting code. The second, on the other hand, is based on the contents: in the same patch there are in fact references to two new maps, which could anticipate the arrival of a DLC or an actual expansion.

The news is It was spread by Lance McDonald, modder and dataminer who has always been close to FromSoftware games, but it doesn't mean that Ray Tracing will be implemented in the game, just as it doesn't mean that FromSoftware will launch an expansion. Waiting for official announcements, therefore, it is always good to take this news with pliers and wait for the development team to expose itself in person.
