Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro for smartphones, Pixel Watch for smartwatches and the two new Nest Wifi Pro and Doorbell for the smart home: there are no big news to expect on the line of devices that Google will unveil tomorrow 6 October with its autumn event dedicated to hardware titled Made by Google (at 4 pm Italian time), also because the rumors and previews were copious and detailed, most of which came from the parent company as on the occasion of the Google I / O. Let's take stock of everything there is to expect and how the products will be released all over the world in the coming weeks. In the foreground there is of course the pair of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 smartphones Pro, which on an aesthetic level will modify the upper band on the back to accommodate the multi-camera with a metallic effect and with non-embossed windows. Moved by the second generation of the proprietary Tensor chip, they will mount a 6.3-inch 90 Hz and full hd display for the standard model and a 6.7-inch 120 Hz and qhd display for the Pro one, respectively accompanied by 8 and 12 GB of ram and a choice 128 or 256 GB of storage. Identical to the 10.8 megapixel selfie camera for both, as well as the 50 megapixel main sensor and the 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle optics on the back, Pixel 7 will focus on a sensor for three-dimensional depth of field, while Pixel 7 Pro will also add a telephoto lens. 48 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom. The list prices should not change compared to the previous models, so they will start from 649 and 889 euros.
Pixel Watch
The widely anticipated Pixel Watch will be the first Google-branded smartwatch and will focus on a minimalist design with a wraparound round display. There will be two versions, namely the standard one with nfc chip for wireless payments, gps and wifi and the one with a 4G cellular module for an autonomous connection. Features include sleep monitoring, blood oxygenation, electrocardiogram and heart rate. The prices will be very close to each other or 379 and 419 euros respectively, with the possibility that the standard will be given as a gift to the first orders of the Pixel 7 Pro. Finally, two new Nest devices will also be presented: the Nest Wi-Fi mesh router Pro with 6e wifi support and extended coverage to 120 square meters at a price of 219.99 euros and a new Nest Doorbell smart doorbell with 3 megapixel camera for 279 euros.
How to watch Google's Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch event stream
© Provided by Mashable How to watch Google's Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch event streamIt’s hard to believe Google has been making its own in-house Android phones for more than six years now, but here we are with the Pixel 7 almost upon us.
The bad news is that you still have to wait for Google to do a whole livestream to show off the phone in all its glory. But the good news is that you can at least watch the announcement stream live from the comfort of your own home.
The 'Made By Google' event will be livestreamed on Google’s event website and on YouTube on Oct. 6 at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET.
As for the day's itinerary, we have a good feel for what to expect because, well, Google already announced the event's two main products back in May. At its I/O event this past spring, Google gave us brief glimpses of both the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch, and those will surely be the stars of the show.
The Pixel 7 has been slightly redesigned with a glossier horizontal camera bar on the back and is reportedly a little more stout but lighter than the Pixel 6. A major leak just days ahead of the event gave us some hints of what the Pixel 7's specs might look like and the conclusion seems to be 'very similar to the Pixel 6.' The display sizes, refresh rates, and camera specs all seem to hew closely to the Pixel 6, with bigger changes we don't know about yet surely coming on the software side.
We know less about Google's upcoming smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, but a leaked starting price point of $350 puts it on the more expensive end of the Android smartwatch spectrum. One leak over the weekend confirmed it'll include tracking for heart rates, sleep, and even electrocardiograms (ECG).
As for what other surprises Google might have in store, you’ll just have to watch the livestream to find out.
