While we are anxiously awaiting the official presentation of NVIDIA concerning its next series of RTX 4000 graphics cards based on the "Ada Lovelace" architecture, leaks and rumors relating to various articles not yet announced continue to appear on the net . Apparently, it seems that new "Ampere" models could also arrive, such as the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ventus 3X 20G OC, recently photographed by Twitter user @ hongxing2020, of which 100 are being sold at a price between 432 and 576. dollars.
We do not know the full specifications of the product, but presumably the GPU should remain the same as the 10GB variant, but with some modifications to support Micron memory chips with double capacity. After all, NVIDIA had already used this approach in the past: for example, the GTX 780 3GB and GTX 770 2GB have seen the arrival of models with doubled RAM.

A few days ago, the alleged first “real” photo of a GeForce RTX 4080, whose presentation is now imminent. From the image you could see the presence of a heatsink very similar to that used on the previous RTX 30 series, while the font used for the "RTX 4080" writing is the same that we now find on the official NVIDIA website. For more details about it, we recommend you to read our previous dedicated article.
