With a post on Twitter, Microids announced the decision to postpone Flashback 2. Initially expected for the winter, the release date has been pushed back to a generic 2023, with the developers promising they will offer more details on the launch and development progress in the coming months."Originally planned for l 'winter 2022 on consoles and PCs, we have made the decision to postpone the game to 2023. Flashback 2 is an action platformer for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch that marks the return of Conrad B. Hart after 30 years of inactivity. The original Flashback was published in fact back in 1992, conquering the public thanks to the mechanics and animations, decidedly avant-garde at the time, and now the series is about to return with a new chapter faithful to its origins. Flashback 2 is developed in close collaboration between the Paul Cuisset team and Microids Studio Lyon.
The last time we saw Flashback 2 in action was at the Summer Game Fest a few months ago, where a trailer was released for the occasion and indicated winter as the game's release period.

Microids has delayed Flashback 2 from its previously planned winter 2022 release window to 2023. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
