In addition to this, Apple also anticipated at the event some phone stands made by Belkin in plastic and aluminum, available soon this year.

As described by the company's IT engineer Karen Xing, macOS will detect the phone as if it were a camera with microphone, allowing conferencing applications, such as Webex, Zoom and Facetime, to already be compatible with the new functionality without the need for an update on the part of the developers.
