Star Wars Jedi
Yesterday, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the new action game from EA and Respawn Entertainment, was finally officially unveiled. This Fallen Order sequel still has a lot to unveil, but director Stig Asmussen said there may be some news, which had been cut from Fallen Order.Specifically, Asmussen was asked when the team did started thinking about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Asmussen explained that Respawn had actually already started work on Survivor before Fallen Order was even complete. He explains that there are "a lot of things we put aside" and that "we knew we wanted to put aside."
Asmussen also gives some examples: there could be things like more poses and moves for the fight. But also from the narrative point of view there will be news, related to the way in which Cal and his crew will evolve. Also, the team has some ideas on how to approach the game world and the levels. The goal for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is to expand them and make them more "vibrant".
Cal and BD-1 from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor It is then explained that the duo Cal and BD-1, or the protagonist and his robot, will still be important in the following. Asmussen doesn't want to spoil Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, of course, but he claims that the team doesn't just think of Cal, when imagining the game's protagonist, but think of Cal and BD-1, together.
Comes later stated that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will continue to expand the Star Wars lore beyond movies and series, as it did with Dathomir within Fallen Order.
Finally, it was explained how PS5 and Xbox Series X will help build a better following.

Respawn's 'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor' arrives in 2023
Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order that it first announced earlier this year, is happening. At the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, the studio has revealed that Jedi: Survivor is a direct sequel to Star Wars: Fallen Order, which is an action-adventure game released back in 2019. Survivor is set five years after the events of its predecessor and will still feature the protagonist Cal Kestis (and his droid companion BD-1) as one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy that's ruled by the Empire.
The studio said Jedi: Survivor will expand on the first game's combat system — and perhaps improve on it, too. Some players weren't quite fond of Jedi: Fallen Order's combat and considered it a weak aspect of the game. Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to come out in 2023, with Electronic Arts aiming to get it out by the end of its fiscal year in March. Respawn is currently developing it for the latest generation of consoles, particularly the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5, though it will also be released for PCs. The studio doesn't seem to have plans to release it for older consoles like the Xbox One and the PS4.
