Warcraft
On May 3rd, Blizzard will unveil a new mobile game in the Warcraft series to the world. What will it be about? Certainly not the Pokémon GO-style game we talked about long ago. Jason Schreier has indeed confirmed that this game has been canceled. It all started with a tweet from Jez Corden, who wrote: "For those who are writing to me privately about the new Warcraft mobile games , I believe the Pokémon GO style game was actually canceled a while ago. What will be announced next week is not a Pokémon GO style game, but it looks like it's a great game from what I've heard. " .
Following, Jason Schreier wrote: "They can confirm it: the Pokémon GO-style Warcraft game, one of the two I mentioned in my first tweet, was canceled earlier this year. The other will be unveiled next week ".
Schreier then adds that he didn't know anything about it until he saw Corden's tweet and then asked his sources for new information to confirm. Corden also adds that the cancellation makes sense as non-Pokémon GO games have not been very successful.
That's all we know for now. Blizzard's official announcement will be on May 3rd and we'll be able to see exactly how Warcraft has been ported to mobile.

Blizzard to unveil its first Warcraft mobile game on May 3
If we don’t count Hearthstone, which was designed as a desktop-first game and then ported on mobile too, Diablo Immortal would be Blizzard’s first foray into the mobile gaming market. Despite the fans outcry following the game’s reveal at Blizzcon, Diablo Immortal seems to be one of the most anticipated mobile games of the year. Not to mention that Blizzard has decided to reconcile with Diablo fans by bringing Immortal to PC as well. However, Diablo Immortal remains a mobile-first title, so the differences between the two versions will mostly be related to controls. That being said, it looks like Blizzard is betting big on mobile. Although we did have information regarding a possible Warcraft game for mobile device, the US company didn’t confirm the existence of the game until recently.
Earlier this week, Blizzard confirmed that the official unveiling of its first Warcraft mobile game is scheduled for May 3 at 10 am PT. We have no idea what to expect, but we don’t rule out the possibility of this being another autobattler in the veins of Teamfight Tactics. We’ll have more news early next week, so stay tuned for more.New reasons to get excited every week
