The makers continue relentlessly to use their passion for Raspberry Pi by creating really interesting projects, which we try to propose to you with a certain frequency. The subject of today's news is a retro looking radio capable of playing the audio of the lofi hip hop YouTube videos made by Nicholas Sherlock.
Photo Credit: Nicholas Sherlock Designed completely from the ground up, this radio features a 3D printed case with a faux wood finish where a speaker and two knobs for controls have been placed, as well as a button to allow users to pause or skip to the next track. Inside, the real technological heart is the Raspberry Pi 3B + Single Board Computer, connected to an X400 amplifier board. Of course, playing audio streams isn't a particularly complex task; therefore, it was not necessary to use a (currently unavailable) Raspberry Pi 4. To ensure good heat dissipation and avoid overheating, a Noctua PWM 5V fan was included.| ); }
