Here's how to apply. Who can apply for the mobility bonus? The discount will be granted to those who, between 1 August and 31 December 2020, have purchased zero-emission vehicles or services - such as bicycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters and the like, public transport passes or car sharing services - and has scrapped a category M1 vehicle, falling within those provided for by paragraph 1032 of article 1 of the law of 30 December 2018 number 14.
How to apply for the mobility bonus? The bonus can be requested through the website of the Revenue Agency, by filling out the form "Application for the recognition of the tax credit for the expenses incurred for the purchase of sustainable mobility vehicles and services", then indicating in the tax return the amount of expenses incurred and the required tax credit The application can be presented either by the taxpayer or by the accountants.
What are the timelines? The Revenue Agency will send a receipt of acceptance or rejection of the request, within five days of submitting the application. In case of refusal, always between 13 April and 13 May, it will be possible to send a second request, which will replace the previous one. If successful, the percentage of credit obtained will be communicated to taxpayers within ten days of the deadline.
What are the limits? The credit cannot be used beyond the tax period of 2022 and within the spending limit of 5 million euros, set by the Agency.

Also, if you plan to carry your groceries on the bike, or perhaps even plan to pack for a cross-country trip, you will want to make sure the bike has good rigging on to attach your gear to.
You should also consider something as simple as your experience level on a bike. More experienced riders will be looking for different amenities and functions than a new rider should.
Based on the function, you will want to look into different styles of bikes.
