The second season of Made in Abyss, an adaptation of the homonymous manga by Akihito Tsukushi, whose first season was broadcast in the summer of 2017 and made available in Italy on VVVVD and Netflix, is titled Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ogonkyo ( The Golden City of the Scorching Sun). The website of the anime and the Twitter account of Kadokawa Anime have finally revealed the release month of the second season, which is in July of this year and have released a new key visual.
Additionally, Yuka Kuroda joins Kise as the second character designer. Season 1 prop designer Takeshi Takakura is now the design leader, with Takumi Sakura credited as the new season prop designer.
