Microsoft Flight Simulator will update with DLSS and AMD FSR

Over the course of this week, Asobo Studio announced the upcoming changes that will be introduced in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The game, launched in 2020 on PC and later on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, will see the implementation of two important elements on a technical level, namely Nvidia's DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution.

The two technologies have different names but common goals. In short, both Nvidia and AMD have developed a tool for dynamically scaling resolution. These two tools are already available on several games, but will only be introduced in Microsoft Flight Simulator over the next few months. The goal of Asobo Studio would be to introduce both features during this summer, more precisely in July 2022. The introduction of AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution will take place in its version 1.0, but will subsequently be updated to version 2.0.| ); }
With such support, Microsoft Flight Simulator is probably a candidate for become one of the hit games of this generation. However, the road is still long, but Asobo Studio has shown that it knows how to update its title in the best possible way, with new locations and new airports made available to players. And given the response from the public, we doubt the team will suddenly stop working on the title.
