In the official presentation video of the Arc Control software, 3DCenter was able to glimpse some interesting details about the Intel Arc A780 mid-range desktop GPU. Arc Control is Intel's new software, dedicated to monitoring Arc Alchemist boards and Iris Xe mobile GPUs. Various features were shown in the presentation, such as the new performance card which reports various information about the GPU.
During the presentation, Intel repeatedly and for a few fractions of a second showed the screen showing data such as values. related to the power of the GPU, as well as the frequency of the cores and memory. The specifications that can be seen do not correspond to any of the new Arc GPU models presented on March 30th, so it is reasonable to think that they refer to some model not yet presented.

The frequency 2.2 GHz maximum is not exclusive to desktop models, however. The Geekbench data for Arc 350M show that this GPU is also able to reach a similar frequency, during the OpenCL test. Specifically, the model has a base frequency of 1.15 GHz and a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz.

Intel Arc These details obviously remain to be confirmed by Intel, a once it has released the Arc desktop templates. Furthermore, according to Videocardz, the VRAM frequency of 1093 MHz would suggest an effective memory bandwidth of 17.5 Gbps, a value higher than the Radeon RX 6700XT which has a band of 16Gbps and the GeForce RTX 3070, capable of reaching the 14Gbps. This would confirm direct competition with competing medium-high range proposals.
