LatencyFlex
You have probably heard of NVIDIA Reflex, a proprietary technology of the Californian company that promises to significantly reduce input lag, a value that must be as low as possible, especially when it comes to competitive titles. For this purpose, as we have reported in more detail in our dedicated article, NVIDIA Reflex improves the communication chain between various elements, such as G-Sync monitors with compatible software (among which we can mention Fortnite, Call Of Duty: Warzone and Valorant) , by optimizing processes.NVIDIA Reflex is not the only technology designed for minimizing input lag. A competitor is LatencyFlex, of which a first version is now available and which, as reported by Phoronix colleagues, is proposed as a middleware solution to replace the Reflex library. LatencyFlex supports Windows games that can also run on Linux via Steam Play with the Proton-NVAPI interface or natively on titles that use the Unreal Engine and Unity graphics engines.
Generic photos. It seems NVIDIA is finally ready to launch its new GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, officially unveiled last January. In fact, as we reported this morning, the card should arrive on March 29th, with an actual availability of the international market for the month of April. Obviously, for the moment we just have to wait a few more days to find out more.
