After months of rumors and rumors, now we are: Hogwarts Legacy is about to receive, finally, the first official news. The home game Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will in fact be the protagonist of Sony's next State of Play, the second in a month after that of the first days of March focused mostly on Japanese games.Chandler Wood, Community Manager of WB Games Avalanche, announced this PlayStation live special with a long post on the official blog. "Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games are happy to collaborate with PlayStation to deliver a special edition of State of Play entirely dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy", reads the brand's official blog dedicated to Sony video games.
And now the date: Hogwarts Legacy will show itself after almost two years of waiting this Thursday 17 March 2022, starting at 22:00 Italian on the YouTube and Twitch channels of PlayStation. The appointment after the show is on the PlayStation Blog, where a long article will be published that will add some context and some details on what will be shown during this special live. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy has been discussed for what feels like eons in the online space, and now we’re finally getting to see more on what might be the game Harry Potter fans have always dreamed of. The PlayStation Blog confirmed that a State of Play stream event that focuses on Hogwarts Legacy exclusively will air on March 17.
Fans are already praying that this is an improvement on March’s previous State of Play stream, which was widely seen as underwhelming for PlayStation fans. Though, only Harry Potter fans are really gearing up for something big here, understandably. Still, given that this gets a dedicated State of Play, it must be impactful.
