NVIDIA will still focus on ARM CPUs despite the renunciation of the acquisition

Despite NVIDIA’s acquisition of nearly $ 40 billion of ARM unsuccessful due to non-approval from all antitrust authorities, the company will continue to work on its line up of ARM-based processors. In fact, the company's CEO, Jensen Huang, at the usual meeting for disclosure of earnings to financial analysts and investors, said:

We are on track to launch our ARM-based Grace CPU that aims to the gigantic AI and HPC workloads in the first half of next year. Our 20-year architectural license for ARM's IP allows us to have full freedom over technologies and markets. You will see a lot of interesting CPUs coming from us and Grace is just the first example. You will see many others. We love to see CPU expansion and are thrilled that ARM is growing in robotics, autonomous vehicles, cloud computing, supercomputing. We intend to bring the full spectrum of NVIDIA's accelerated computing platform to NVIDIA ARM CPUs.

Our strategy is accelerated computing; this is ultimately what we do for a living. We will continue our three-chip strategy across CPU, GPU and DPU. Whether it's x86 or ARM, we'll use the best CPU for the job. Together with partners from the IT industry, we will offer the best computing platform in the world to address the most important challenges of our time.

Already at present, NVIDIA continues to achieve record profits. For fiscal year 2022, the company recorded $ 26.914 billion in revenue, up 61% from the previous year (16.68 billion) and gross margin reached 64.9%. If we take into account only the fourth quarter, the revenues were equal to 7.643 billion, for a net profit of just over 3 billion.
