Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 8K, ray tracing and next gen graphics mods is incredible

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild returns to be the protagonist of a new video on the graphic processing carried out by modders to the playable version through emulation on PC, which allows them to apply additional next gen graphic mods such as 8K resolution, ray tracing and detail increased.

The result is truly impressive, at least from a technical point of view: all these mods applied allow you to obtain graphics considered to be of a higher level, like more advanced next gen productions, but obviously they go a little to distort the original vision of the game for Nintendo Switch, creating a somewhat bizarre effect.

The increase in resolution, the global lighting system that simulates ray tracing and the increase in the level of detail and of the visual distance are still applied in a remarkable way by these mods illustrated by Digital Dreams, therefore the work done by the modders is commendable, only the result is not n necessarily more "beautiful" than the original aspect of the game, since for the latter the artistic direction originally imparted by the developers must be taken into consideration.

It must be said that, for example, the increase in LOD manages to increase the sense of breadth of the panoramas that already characterizes the game in origin, giving an extra gear on this juncture. As a demonstration of how The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is rich in even hidden content, it has recently emerged that another secret has been discovered about Link's sunburn, while one begins to think that Breath of the Wild 2 may be present at the Game Awards 2021.

'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2' World Premiere Might Debut In December

KEY POINTS
  • 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2' was announced a few years ago
  • Nintendo has not yet revealed its plans for the highly awaited sequel
  • Some fans think they would hear more of 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2' in December
  • 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' is one of the highly awaited titles fans hope to see released this year but while Nintendo has not yet said anything about its plan for the sequel, some fans think the game's world premiere could debut sometime in December.

Speculations about 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' stemmed from a cryptic message from The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley. The Canadian video game journalist and TV presenter tried to hype the upcoming annual video games industry's awards ceremony on Twitter.

'Just saw the final cut of a #thegameawards world premiere we have been working on with a developer for 2.5 years. Truly honored we are entrusted to share this work with the world,' Keighley said.

The tweet is vague and the TV presenter could be referring to anything but some fans concluded that it might be about Nintendo's major title. Speculations claimed that Keighley's tweet is hinting at the appearance of 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' at The Game Awards.

In response to Keighley's tweet, GameXplain founder said about the time frame, 'That's about how long ago Breath of the Wild 2 was revealed.' Another Twitter user responded to Keighley's tweet and noted, 'I really do want to believe he is referring to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.'

Citing a couple of reasons, the user said, 'The game is pretty far along now, and Nintendo has been holding back information on the game including the subtitle.' They also noted that 'Zelda has a Game Awards history.'

In a follow-up tweet, Keighley said, '2.5 years sounds like a long time, but summer of 2019 was actually my last global tour to visit developers. I always have so much fun visiting studios and hearing about their projects. Hope to do it again in 2022.'

The mention of traveling globally could be a good sign for fans hoping that 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2' would appear at the annual video game awards ceremony. Unfortunately, Nintendo has not yet announced anything related to the highly anticipated game sequel.

It is worth noting that while this is an interesting idea and good news for fans of 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2,' it is just an idea and not an official announcement from Nintendo. Fans should therefore take this as a highly speculative idea.
