Call of Duty
Call of Duty: Vanguard has been available for a couple of days and a rather annoying problem has been detected regarding the shield, which apparently does not work as it should by not blocking shots when used, which of course it should do based on its characteristics .The Combat Shield is a melee weapon, which can be placed on the back and in this case should guarantee greater protection from blows coming from behind, but this apparently does not happen, at least for the moment.
As reported by several reports on Reddit, in the channel dedicated to the game where a video was also reported to demonstrate the thing, the shield placed on the back does not seem to offer any protection. Although this seems to make some users happy who find the use of this tool rather annoying, it seems to be a sort of bug, since it contravenes the very function of the object in question.
Other users report that it shield also works poorly when used for head-on battles, as headshots can be taken with a somewhat suspicious ease, so there is obviously something to record regarding the combat shield in Call of Duty: Vanguard. We await at this point any developments on the issue that may arrive in a patch.
In the meantime, we refer you to the complete review of the new Call of Duty: Vanguard, while we remember that the first votes were good but not exceptional.

Call Of Duty 2023 leak says it’s Black Ops with a Battlefield 2042 style setting
Black Ops 2042? (pic: Activision)A rumour suggests the 2023 Call Of Duty will be another Black Ops title, and Activision’s usual development cycle means it’s probably true.
These Call Of Duty leaks are starting to get a bit ridiculous now. Call Of Duty: Vanguard’s identity was leaked multiple times before it was announced, details about the 2022 game surfaced before Vanguard even came out, and now someone’s claiming to have info on the 2023 game.
This leak/rumour comes from Twitter user RalphsValve, who only recently posted a bunch of information on the 2022 game, which is widely assumed to be a follow-up to the 2019 Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot.
They claim that the 2023 game is being helmed by Treyarch and, as such, will be another entry in the Black Ops sub-series. Unlike the 2020 game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, this one will be set in the near future, with RalphsValve saying it’ll be similar to the setting of Battlefield 2042.
While they offer no concrete evidence, it’s easy to believe that the 2023 game will be another Black Ops entry. After all, anyone familiar with the Call Of Duty development cycle knows that it rotates between three main studios: Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer Games.
Since Sledgehammer Games did the most recent game, Call Of Duty: Vanguard, and Treyarch did Black Ops Cold War before that, it means Infinity Ward is developing the 2022 game, and Treyarch is undoubtedly in charge of the 2023 title. Treyarch’s Call Of Duty contributions consist almost entirely of Black Ops games, so 2023 having another is a very safe bet.
Whatever the 2023 game is, it’s likely too early in production for there to be any substantial information. By comparison, a lot is supposedly already known about the 2022 game, which is said to focus on drug cartels rather than the original Modern Warfare 2’s Russian invasion plot.
More: GamingSo far, Call Of Duty: Vanguard has received relatively positive reviews from critics, although the lack of review copies sent out means most sites (including us) haven’t posted theirs yet.
It also doesn’t change the fact that Activision is still facing scrutiny and criticism over the harassment lawsuit filed by the State of California earlier in the year. The suit alleges that Activision allowed a toxic working environment to fester, resulting in multiple instances of abuse and discrimination.
