Through a press release, the Taiwanese manufacturer MSI announced the arrival in Italy of its SSDs of the SPATIUM line, the first in M.2 format that rely on the very fast PCI Express 4.0 interface. Thanks to SPATIUM, MSI reconfirms itself as a company able to offer high-performance products to its customers, enriching its general ecosystem.
Credit: MSI The MSI SPATIUM SSDs were made with 3D NAND flash memories of high quality, which guarantee a sequential reading speed of up to 7,000MB / s and up to 6,800MB / s in sequential writing. In addition, performance will be constant over time thanks to the use of a bronze-colored heat sink that will keep temperatures low under load (we are talking about only 20 ° C) so that the read and write speeds remain stable. As for the other technologies used to maximize performance, a DRAM cache buffer and an SLC cache have been implemented.

Both will be marketed in 1TB and 2TB variants. SPATIUM M480 supports a full range of data correction functions, including LPDC ECC and E2E Data Protection, offering quite high TBW to ensure optimal lifespan. Finally, the products are guaranteed for five years.
Below is the entire line-up with the related recommended prices to the public:
