Nintendo Switch OLED brutalizes the competition in the Japanese charts

This week's Japanese charts see Nintendo Switch OLED brutalize the competition. The new model of the hybrid console has in fact sold more than 138,000 units, despite the higher price and the technological leap forward that is not exactly striking compared to the base model of the console. Adding to it the sales of Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, the total number of Switches sold is almost 180,000 units, against the PS5's just over 15,000.

On the software front, Metroid Dread ranks first. which marked the best debut for the series in Japan with 86,798 physical units sold, followed by Far Cry 6, which sells more than double on PS4 than on PS5.
