Starting at 10:00 PM CET on Friday 1st October at the same time as Monday 1st November you will meet Yamask during the extraordinary discovery of October. In addition, every Monday of the month, with 1 Pokémon age, you can purchase a pack in the shop that includes a remote raid ticket and other items.
During the month of October, "Pokémon in the foreground" time will take place every Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00, each time featuring a Pokémon and different bonuses. Specifically:
Tuesday, October 5, 2021: the Pokémon in the foreground will be Drifloon and you will get double XP by evolving Pokémon. Tuesday, October 12, 2021: The featured Pokémon will be Gastly, and you'll get double stardust by catching Pokémon. Tuesday, October 19, 2021: The featured Pokémon will be Gothita and you'll get double XP by catching Pokémon. Tuesday, October 26, 2021: The featured Pokémon will be Murkrow and you'll get double XP by evolving Pokémon.
During the month of October there will also be other events, including Community Day starring Duskull and the crossover with the Pokémon: Secrets of the Jungle movie. On Wednesday 6 October 2021, players who log in between 11am and 5pm will receive a free Niantic anniversary pack. While starting from October 15th until October 31st, the Pokémon in costume will return with the Halloween event, of which new details will soon be revealed.

The Mythical Pokémon Genesect holding a Hydromodule will appear in five-star raids from 10:00 am Friday October 1st 2021 to 10:00 am Tuesday October 12th 2021 (local time). It will make its debut in Pokémon GO, but it will not appear in its chromatic version for now. The Altered Form of Giratina will appear in five-star raids from 10am Tuesday 12 October 2021 to 10am Friday 22 October 2021 (local time). If you are lucky, you will be able to meet a chromatic one! Darkrai who knows about the Sludge Bomb attack will appear in five-star raids from 10am Friday 22 October 2021 to 10am Friday 5 November 2021 (local time). It is the first time it appears in Pokémon GO with this attack! If you are lucky, you will be able to meet a chromatic one! Mega Gengar will appear in megaraids from 10am Friday 1 October 2021 to 10am Friday 22 October 2021 (local time). Mega Absol will appear in megaraids from 10:00 on Friday 22 October 2021 to 10:00 on Friday 5 November 2021 (local time).
Every Wednesday in October, the following Pokémon will appear during "Raid Hour" from 6pm to 7pm.
