Venom

Sony Pictures has released the new official trailer for Venom: The Fury of Carnage, the sequel to the film Venom released in theaters in 2018 (find the video below, in Italian). Carnage, the central villain of the film, had already appeared in the first trailer released a few months ago but is now back in all its violence. After all, the character played by Woody Harrelson was also shown briefly in the post-credit scene of the first film (which you can buy at a special price).

The video, lasting just over two minutes, shows us the protagonist Eddie Brock (played again by Tom Hardy) living his double life together with the alien symbiote, which however seems to be increasingly "undisciplined" and impulsive, often leading to consequences not always pleasant to the detriment of the poor former journalist. However, the situation seems destined to worsen as soon as serial killer Cletus Kasady manages to escape from the Ravencroft prison, along with the equally lethal Shriek (Naomie Harris). In the Marvel comics, Frances Louise Barrison is in fact a dangerous criminal capable of manipulating sound, soon allying herself with the ruthless Carnage.

Created by David Michelinie and Mark Bagley, Cletus Kasady made his debut in issue 344 of the comic series Amazing Spider-Man (1991), quickly becoming one of the bloodiest villains ever among those belonging to the universe of Peter Parker. In fact, the comic miniseries Maximum Carnage is famous, in which Venom and Spider-Man (and beyond) decided to join forces against Carnage and his gang of supervillains intent on sowing death and destruction on the streets of New York. The editorial history of Venom's fearsome opponent has continued over the years with great success, so much so that even today he appears regularly in various stories dedicated to the symbiote.

In the cast of Venom: of Carnage's Fury, expected in Italian cinemas from next September 17th of this year, we also find Michelle Williams (Anne Weying), Reid Scott and Stephen Graham.
