Brian Miller offers alternate choice in Liverpool Township race
DIXONVILLE — Brian Miller hopes that Liverpool Township voters will seek to add a new face to their board of trustees.
Miller, a political newcomer, is seeking to unseat either Dennis Giambroni or Mike Bahen (both incumbents) from their township trustee seats in the November general election.
Working for the Ohio Department of Transportation since 2006, he previously worked as a township road employee before receiving the opportunity to work for the state.
A 1998 East Liverpool High School graduate, Miller worked in the C.A.R.T.S. maintenance garage.
In addition to working out of the ODOT region serving Columbiana County, Miller also does landscaping on the side.
He does acknowledge that campaigning this year amid the COVID pandemic has been more of a challenge than the last time he sought to get elected to the board. However, it still doesn’t dull his enthusiasm when it comes to hearing from his potential constituents.
“I would like to see more movement in the area of road maintenance,” Miller said. “I have all sorts of ideas and like working with people.”
Miller and his wife Abbie have have a son, Kamdin, 14.
