Record of Ragnarok
Record of Ragnarok, the anime adaptation of the manga by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, broadcast in Italy on Netflix, will have a second season. The Netflix anime series (read our review here) is made from the Graphinica studio and its first season consists of a total of 12 episodes lasting about 24 minutes each. Masao Ookubo directed the series alongside Kazuyuki Fudeyasu who wrote the script and Masaki Saito who drew the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music.As for the cast, Miyuki Sawashiro is Brunilde, Tomoyo Kurosawa has the role of Göll, Tomokazu Seki as Lü Bu, Soma Saito gives the voice to Adam, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Kojiro Sasaki, Hikaru Midorikawa is Thor, Wataru Takagi is Zeus, Takahiro Sakurai has the role of Poseidon, Junichi Suwabe is Hermes, Rie Tanaka is Aphrodite, Hinata Tadakoro as Ares, Tatsuhisa Suzuki gives voice to Shiva, Hayami and Odin exhibition, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka è Loki and Yukihiro Nozuyama voices Heimdall.
Record of Ragnarok: the manga
The Record of Ragnarok (Shuumatsu no Valkyrie) manga by Shinya Umemura, Ajichika and Takumi Fukui was launched on Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017. Umemura deals with the story, Ajichika with the drawings and Fukui with the composition of the series. In Italy, the manga is published by Star Comics (get it on Amazon!) Which describes the plot as follows:The gods are angry. They are tired of human beings, of their misery, greed, myopia and pride, and they decide to annihilate them once and for all to restore peace, harmony and beauty to the Earth. But the Valkyrie Brunhilde titillates their pride: perhaps the gods, deep down, are too afraid of men to give them one last chance? Obviously the gods fear nothing or anyone, and thus indicate the RAGNAROK, the final clash between gods and men! 13 representatives of mankind, chosen from all eras and assisted by the power of the Valkyries, will face off against 13 fierce divinities: if they manage to win the greatest number of duels, humanity will be saved. In October 2019, again on Comics Zenon, the spin-off of Record of Ragnarok entitled The Ryo Fu Ho Sen Hishoden (The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General) was published.
'Record of Ragnarok' is getting a second season

Just two months after 'Record of Ragnarok' debuted, the anime has been confirmed to get a second season!
The official Twitter account of the anime made the announcement by posting an illustration drawn by character designer Masaki Sato.
According to the post, Season 2 is now in production.
'Record of Ragnarok' is an anime based on the manga created by Azychika, Shinya Umemura and TakumiFukui. Netflix announced that it was producing the series back in March.
The story follows 13 gods and 13 humans battling it out in one-on-one battles to decide the fate of humanity.
