Bloodborne: Fan introduces first-person mod for the PS4 title

Bloodborne

Soon there will be a first-person mod for Bloodborne on the internet. The project was started by a hobby developer who has already published a comparable mod for Dark Souls 3. Now the first person perspective for Bloodborne is also almost complete. In a first trailer, the modders Garden of Eyes and Zullie the Witch show their current progress in the mod.

Even if the trailer gives the impression that the mod can be played in VR, this is not the case. However, the developers had to revise numerous animations to improve the first-person experience. So that the player can switch to the new perspective, he receives the Great One Hat at the beginning of the adventure, which must be put on as a helmet. Because of the limited possibilities of PS4 modding, the makers faced difficulties more often. The final product will soon be distributed via Patreon. The mod is also compatible with the 60 FPS patch by modder Lance McDonald, which was introduced in February. The next project is a first person mod for the upcoming Elden Ring.

Bloodborne Is Getting an Unofficial First-Person Mod

So, how do you feel about playing Bloodborne in the first-person view? Well, the good news is it’s already in development.

It’s a no-brainer that Bloodborne is one of the most difficult action-adventure games of the past generation. Even the Dark Souls fans found it much harder than the previous titles of Hidetaka Miyazaki.

    Bloodborne First-Person Camera Mod

Garden of Eyes is a modding group that has recently shared a new trailer for their next project, which is a unique mod for PS4’s Bloodborne. Simply put, this new mod adds the first-person camera to the game, allowing players to experience the whole game in the first-person view, much similar to an Elder Scrolls title.

Of, course, this could raise the difficulty of the game to a nightmarish point as you wouldn’t have a full view and control over your surroundings, but it would be definitely worth a shot.

Below, you can take a look at this mod:

    Bloodborne, but in FIRST PERSON!

Bloodborne was originally launched as a PS4 exclusive title. There have been many rumors over the past years around a remastered version of the game for PS5 and PC, but none have turned out to be true so far.

FromSoftware once made it clear that a Bloodborne sequel would be impossible unless Sony wants it to be made.

Not to mention that the mod above will only be available on PS4.
