Nvidia and EA Games have entered into a partnership that allows buyers of specific PCs equipped with GeForce RTX 3000 series GPUs or single cards to get a free copy of Battlefield 2042 Standard Edition, the new chapter in DICE's popular military saga. At the moment the promotion is only available in the United States, we are waiting to see if it will also arrive in Europe and Italy.
To participate in this offer, as reported by Nvidia, it is necessary to buy an RTX 3070, a 3070Ti, a 3080, a 3080Ti or a 3090 or any pre-assembled computer that mounts one of these GPUs. Therefore, the RTX 3050 and 3060, the lower-end 3000 series graphics cards, are excluded. According to company reports, Battlefield 2042 is optimized to best support Nvidia's DLSS and Reflex technologies.
Battlefield 2042 Standard Edition is also available with Early Access Program for Open Beta soon to arrive. Although it is in effect a game as a gift, it will still be a real pre-order if taken before the official launch of the game set for October 22, 2021: this means that the players who participate in this offer will also receive for free in-game bonus content such as the Baku ACB-90 Tactical Pocket Knife, a Tyrannosaurus Pendant and an in-game tag.
In the meantime, while there are still two months to go before the official release of the game, Battlefield 2042 already has problems to solve with cheaters, as we told you in this article. We have already told you about the game for what we were able to try in our preview, but we can't wait to try the other multiplayer modes as well; among these game modes on the way there is one inspired by Escape From Tarkov, the famous indie shooter, which we talked about better here. We remind you that the game will be released on PC, PS4, SP5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and will feature cross-play. Be careful with your internet line as it is practically impossible to play offline.
If you want Battlefield 2042 but don't also need a new GPU to buy, you can find the game on Amazon by following this link.
