Silent Hill
The Konami Shop has in fact confirmed that some announcement related to the Silent Hill franchise is on the way, answering quite clearly to a player who was asking about it, hoping to see the series return. As you know, In recent days, the Abandoned story has been held, definitely full of mysteries: who is behind the development team, Blue Box? All the clues point to Hideo Kojima, but it could also be references built to advertise. Here comes the Konami Shop which first releases a mysterious teaser trailer in which fans discover an explicit reference to the Silent Hill series, then comes this confirmation message point blank.
What message? A player asked the Konami Shop via private messages on Twitter: "If Silent Hill is about to have a reboot, then say" Just stay tuned "." Guess what the Konami Shop replied? "Haha. Just stay tuned (smile inviting silence)."
Konami Shop confirms Silent Hill Of course the Konami Shop message cannot be taken as an announcement, but if we add up all the details of this story it is increasingly evident that there is something behind it. On the other hand, if this were not the case, it would still have been an exciting story. We just have to wait for the presentation of Abandoned to know how it will end.

Konami Stokes ‘Silent Hill’ Rumors With ‘Coming Soon’ Tweet
Silent Hill is the talk of the town.
Credit: Behaviour InteractiveThe rumors are fierce and persistent. The clues and teases are tantalizing. Could a new Silent Hill game be in the works? Is Hideo Kojima involved? Who is this mysterious developer Blue Box Studios and how are they—and their game Abandoned—linked to Konami and/or Kojima and/or Sony?

I go into a great deal of depth on these questions in my article on Abandoned and the many ways it may—or may not be—a front for a new Silent Hills game from Metal Gear Solid creator, and P.T. mastermind, Hideo Kojima.
Now the mystery thickens (or does it???) as Konami enters the fray (sort of) with the following cryptic tweet:
“COMING SOON...” the tweet reads. It features the Red Pyramid Thing—a classic monster from the horror franchise. It looks creepy.
It’s also the Official Konami Shop Twitter page, not Konami proper. And Konami has largely abandoned video games, or at least its role as a leading Japanese video game developer and publisher.
So it’s possible that this has nothing to do with the Abandoned mystery game, or Hideo Kojima’s subtle hints at a new Silent Hills. Or it could. Who knows?
