Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Grant Kirkhope, one of the most famous composers of the entire world videogame scene, confirmed that he was also involved to create the music of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Indeed, the man who orchestrated the soundtrack of Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark or Civilization: Beyond Earth, said he was very happy to have been involved from the beginning, having also orchestrated the trailer and the gameplay phases. br>The sequel to the highly acclaimed Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle was, together with the open world Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the big surprise of Ubisoft Forward from E3 2021. It is a welcome return of Mario, of the Rabbids, of Ubisoft Milano and Davide Soliani.
But it will also be the return of Grant Kirkhope, a figure now very close to the Milanese team. In addition to having orchestrated the beautiful music of the first game, the Scottish composer has forged a strong bond with Davide Soliani. So it was humanly and professionally obvious that Grant Kirkhope would be involved in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, but it's nice to have confirmation.
"Yes, I'm writing the music for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope! I had to ask Davide Solini not to be a Diva like last time, but I see that he has already started doing it! " Grant Kirkhope joked on Twitter, confirming both his involvement in the project and his friendship with Soliani.
Then starting the usual back and forth of teasing. They will be very fun months for the followers of the dynamic duo.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope lights up Switch in 2022

Ubisoft announced Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope today during its Ubisoft Forward event during the digital Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). It is coming in 2022 for Switch.
The first Mario + Rabbids came out early in the Switch’s life back in August 2019. It was a surprising title in multiple ways. First off, it brought Mario and friends together with the Ubisoft’s rambunctious Rabbids. Secondly, it’s a turn-based tactics game, which may not seem like an obvious pick for Nintendo’s mascot. Also, all of the playable characters have guns.
This unlikely game proved to be a hit, selling over 2 million copies by September 2018. A sequel always seemed possible, and now we know it’s happening.
Sparks of Hope is adding Rabbid Rosalina (and presumably her human counterpart) to the proceedings. In fact, the whole sequel looks to be taking some intergalactic inspiration from Super Mario Galaxy. Pour one out for Yoshi and Rabbid Yoshi, who seem to be missing on the proceedings this time. There’s also a spiky hair mysterious Rabbid that appears to be (gasp) an original character. You can watch the game in action below.
Looks good! Almost too good for current Switch hardware. Hmmmmm.
