After exactly one year from the last announcement of the release of the third knight of Asgard, Tamashii Nations today announces the release of the fourth God Warriors: Megrez Alberich Delta, in Italy simply known by the name of Megres taken from the animated series Saint Seiya - The Knights of the Zodiac. As with the three previous models Alpha Dubhe Siegfried, Beta Merak Hagen and Zeta Mizar Syd, very little time has passed from the first images shown to the public to the actual official announcement.
The figure (without armor) will be completely made in pvc except the feet which are made of metal. As the Japanese company has always accustomed us to, inside the box we will find blisters that will contain numerous extras including interchangeable hands and faces (in all there should be five) and the parts to be able to assemble the armor in the constellation totem. All these additional elements will allow you to create poses and scenarios of all kinds, also tracing the mythical clash with Shiryu of Dragon.
Megrez Alberich is one of the seven God Warriors (even if in reality there are eight as we all know. ) of the caste of the patron knights of Asgard and loyal to Odin and his priestess Hilda of Polaris. His armor represents purple amethyst, and the star of the Big Dipper that corresponds to him is Megrez, also known as Delta Ursae Majoris. Of all the God Warriors Megrez is the only one who knows that Hilda is a slave to the Nibelungen ring, but remains silent since she wanted Odin's armor for herself to kill her and reign over Asgard instead of her.
Delta Megrez Alberich will be about 16 cm tall, a little more than normal than his old model from the Classic line. Its price will be 11,000 Yen just like Alpha Siegfried, Merak Beta Hagen and Mizar Zeta Syd (about 120 Euros), with release scheduled for November 2021 in Japan and about January 2022 in Italy thanks to the official distributor Cosmic Group.
