Captain Tsubasa: the unreleased episodes arrive on Mediaset

Captain Tsubasa

Captain Tsubasa, the anime reboot of the first adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yoichi Takahashi published by Star Comics in Italy, returns again on Mediaset after the first 28 episodes that retrace the narrative arc of elementary school have been aired and disseminated in streaming on Mediaset Play for between December 2019 and February 2020.

The new episodes, from 29 to 52, which narrate the narrative arc of the averages, will be broadcast on Italia 1 from Tuesday 8 June at 13:45 . In this story arc, players have grown up and grappling with a new and upcoming school championship.

Captain Tsubasa: manga and anime

Captain Tsubasa's manga came published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1981 to 1988 and later collected in 37 tankōbon volumes. It arrives in Italy thanks to Star Comics, which also published the 18 volumes of Capitan Tsubasa World Youth and the two special Capitan Tsubasa World Youth Special and Capitan Tsubasa - Taro Misaki Story. However, due to a dispute between FIFA and the Japanese publisher Shūeisha regarding the presence in the work of real teams, jerseys and players, Star Comics was unable to publish the remaining series or reprint Capitan Tsubasa World Youth.

Star Comics then revived the series in a collector's box, entitled CAPITAN TSUBASA COLLECTION.

As for the anime, the new Captain Tsubasa aired in Japan for 52 episodes between April 2018 and April 2019.

Captain Tsubasa is directed by Toshiyuki Kato (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Full Moon O Sagashite) at the David Production studio (Fire Force, Cells at Work!) on scripts coordinated by Atsuhiro Tomioka ( Inazuma Eleven, Pokémon XY). Hajime Watanabe (Ginga and Kickoff !!, School Rumble) oversaw the character design and general direction of the animation while Hayato Matsuo (Hellsing Ultimate, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, The World God Only Knows) composed the soundtrack. br>
