Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass could see other chapters of the Dragon Quest series arrive in its catalog, although to tell the truth there remains the doubt as to which ones they may be, considering that the other chapters of the main series can hardly be recovered.
The idea emerges from the always active and goliardic official account of Xbox Game Pass on Twitter, which responded cryptically to a user's post, generating the idea that other Dragon Quests may be arriving in the catalog of the service on Microsoft subscription. The exchange, reported below, actually ends with a mysterious question from Xbox Game Pass.
User Andre Jordan jokingly wrote that he is still engaged in Dragon Quest 11 but Dragon Quest Builders 2 just came out on Xbox Game Pass and are therefore "more Dragon Quest than I can follow". The Xbox Game Pass account responded to this tweet, reporting "No, that's the right amount. Or maybe it's not enough yet?"
This last question has sparked rumors about other possible Dragon Quests coming up, but to tell the truth it is not clear what exactly they may be. The more concrete possibilities seem to refer to the spin-offs, namely Dragon Quest Heroes or perhaps the first chapter of Dragon Quest Builders, which in fact is still missing from the catalog.
As for the regular series, in fact, Dragon Quest X is an Online RPG that never came out of Japan, while Dragon Quest IX is a Nintendo DS exclusive, with the previous one being PS2 exclusive and then released on 3DS and mobile. In all cases they seem difficult chapters to recover on Xbox, but we are still waiting for any information about it, considering that it is only speculation for the moment.

What is Xbox Game Pass, what games do you get and how much does it cost?
(Pocket-lint) - Microsoft has a couple of subscription services for owners of the Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Series S.
Xbox Live Gold is a monthly membership plan that is required for online play and, while it gives you a couple of free games a month, that's its primary purpose.
On the other hand, Xbox Game Pass is the firm's service that gives you access to hundreds of games for just one monthly fee.
They can each be paid for separately, but the best news is that you can also get both, plus Xbox Game Pass for PC, EA Play, xCloud gaming and access to exclusive game discounts for a much cheaper price.
Xbox Games Pass gives you access to well over 300 games to download and play on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S for one monthly fee.
If you upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you also get Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for PC, EA Play and access to Xbox's Cloud Gaming service (formerly called Project xCloud), all for the same price.
You can download the games and play them as often as you like, as long as you continue to pay the monthly fee. Some titles might become unavailable as others are added, but you also have the option of buying any of the collection outright at discounted prices.
Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox games are part of the line-up, the latter two through backward compatibility, so there are plenty of top titles to choose from.
Microsoft adds releases of its own games as soon as they are made available in the shops, including many of the Bethesda titles after its acquisition in March 2021.
The included Xbox Live Gold also gives subscribers exclusive discounts on many games on the Xbox Store.
How much does Xbox Game Pass cost?
Xbox Games Pass Ultimate is priced at $14.99/£10.99 a month. You can cancel at any time.
As mentioned, it includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Games Pass for PC and, more recently, EA Play. Plus, Microsoft's cloud service, xCloud Gaming, is part of Ultimate at no extra cost.
The standard console-only version of Games Pass doesn't include Gold, EA Play, xCloud Gaming or the PC version. It costs $9.99/£7.99 a month. It's the same price for the PC-only version when subscribed to separately. Ultimate is clearly the better deal.
What games are part of Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass will always offer more than 300 games, made up of Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox backward compatible titles.
Some might be switched in future for other games, but here is the current list of all the games that are currently available:
All the Xbox One & Series X/S games on Game Pass (as of 4 May 2021):
Note, Xbox Series X/S versions of games (as marked) will run on Xbox One too, but will have enhancements on the next-gen consoles. Some games will also feature Xbox's Auto HDR and/or FPS Boost technologies.
