The Sims 4
Also this summer there should not be a shortage of enough supplies for the fans of the life simulation The Sims 4. This can be seen at the latest from a roadmap that has just been published, which provides an initial outlook on the coming months. Although it lacks concrete details and dates, the graphic is quite interesting as a guide. The roadmap for The Sims 4 (buy now € 29.45) is under the motto "Summer of Sims" and covers the months May, June and July of the year 2021. The announcement of a new add-on for life simulation is particularly eye-catching. The short description says "connect with nature", which sounds a bit vague on its own. Some fans suspect that this is an extension with a farm theme. A camping or survival scenario would also be conceivable.

The "Sims Event of the Summer" also sounds interesting. The more precise details are missing here as well. But the word "rock" suggests that it could be about the world of music and festivals. You may even be able to start your own band or start a solo career as a singer. Furthermore, a game pack including a new career path and a total of three waves of updates with previously unknown content for The Sims 4 are on the program. There also seems to be an item kit with a backyard theme.
As soon as Electronic Arts announces more details about the "Summer of Sims", you will of course find them immediately in our news section.

The Sims 4 shares first details of new packs coming this summer
The Sims 4 has offered a first hint at what packs to expect this summer.
In a roadmap unveiled earlier on Monday (May 17), EA and Maxis shared plans for new content coming to the popular life simulation game between now and the end of July.
'Where will you take your Summer of Sims?' reads the tagline.
We already knew about the Courtyard Oasis Kit – which is inspired by the riads of Morocco and is being released tomorrow. But after that, fans can expect a new Game Pack and then an Expansion Pack within the next few months.
The Game Pack, described as 'creative', will come with a 'cool new career'.
Meanwhile, the 'charming' unannounced Expansion Pack – expected in July – will see players 'bond with nature' (so it seems safe to rule out anything similar to Generations).
That's not the only thing coming this summer, with the roadmap also hinting at content to coincide with Pride month in the form of a 'virtual block party'. This wouldn't be the first time the game has celebrated Pride month, of course.

There will also be some sort of summer event that will let you 'rock out', although it's unclear at this stage what this means. Music-themed content, perhaps?
And then there will be three 'waves' of base game updates, free for everyone to download. The most recent base game update, released last week, introduced 16 East Asian eye presets aimed at addressing the difficulty of creating authentic East Asian Sims, plus significantly improved two afro hairstyles.
Further details will be announced over the coming weeks and months, but it's clear that the team isn't showing any signs of slowing down with supporting The Sims 4, despite recent confirmation that a sequel is in the works.
The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
