Resident Evil 8 Village
The horror game Resident Evil Village was recently launched for both PC and consoles and caused quite a stir - including in terms of graphics. But what would Resident Evil 8 have looked like if it had been released for PS1 in the 1990s? There is actually an answer to this question that is well worth seeing. The YouTuber "Hoolopee" has taken the trouble to create a so-called demake of Resident Evil Village (buy now 60.14 €). This is a deliberate graphic downgrade, so that the horror game appears in the optical guise of the PS1 era - including washed-out textures, angular polygons and much more. The YouTuber even thought of the clipping errors and tearing effects that were used at the time, so that this demake actually looks like a game from the 1990s.
