Mercedes EQA
After witnessing the market launch of the front-wheel drive Mercedes EQA, the four-wheel drive version has also arrived in Germany. Therefore, thanks to this novelty, the electric vehicle of the German brand will guarantee greater sporting performance but, as far as autonomy is concerned, it remains about 400 km. The new four-wheel drive Mercedes made its debut with two different power levels: the 168 kW 300 4Matic capable of delivering 228 hp and the 215 kW 350 4Matic with 292 hp. Therefore, these variants are added to the 190 hp 140 kW one. Obviously, it was possible to develop the Mercedes EQA 4Matic thanks to the electric motor installed on the front and rear axles. The vehicle makes use - in a particular way - of the thrust produced by the rear engine thanks to which the front engine is also activated, but only when more power or traction is required. As far as about the sprint, while the EQA 250 goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds, the 300 4Matic makes the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.7 seconds. Even less time in the 350, which drops to 6 seconds. The maximum torque is 390 Nm for the 300 and 520 Nm for the 350. A feature that unites the Mercedes EQA is the maximum speed which reaches 160 km / h. In addition, the same battery pack is provided, ie 66.5 kWh, thanks to which it is possible to manage a recharge that reaches 100 kW. With these elements, the vehicle can be recharged from 10% to 80% within 30 minutes. Different time if you recharge the car to an 11 kW network. In this case it takes about 5 hours and 45 minutes for a recharge ranging from 10 to 100%.
The German company has stated that the 4Matic versions guarantee consumption between 17.5 and 18.5 kWh / 100 km in the WLTP homologation cycle. Therefore, it is possible to have an autonomy ranging from 400 to 432 km in mixed use of the vehicle. The new all-wheel drive Mercedes EQAs are already available to order and, apparently, during this year there will be the presentation of a new EQA variant that will guarantee greater autonomy. As for the price (in Germany), it starts from 53,538.10 euros for the 300 and from 56,215.60 euros for the 350.
Two new Mercedes EQA models launched
Mercedes Benz has added two new models to its Mercedes EQA range, the EQA 300 4Matic and the EQA 350 4MATIC.
These new models in the EQA line up will go on sale in Germany with prices starting at €53,538.10 and €56,215.60.
The EQA represents the gateway into the all-electric vehicle world of Mercedes-EQ. Following the already successfully launched EQA 250 (combined power consumption: 15.7 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)1 with 140 kW and front-wheel drive, two powerful and efficient all-wheel-drive models can now be ordered in the form of the EQA 300 4MATIC and EQA 350 4MATIC. Prices start at 53,538.10 and 56,215.60 euros[3]. Mercedes-Benz Bank offers attractive financing and leasing terms for both private and business customers.
Mercedes-Benz and the federal government are supporting the switch to electric mobility in Germany: due to a net list price of less than 65,000 euros for these two EQAs, an environmental bonus of 5000 euros from the German government supplemented by 2500 euros from Mercedes-Benz is possible[4]. The effective prices, taking into account both the manufacturer’s and the federal government’s shares, are then 45,443.10 and 48,515.60 euros respectively.
