Buy PS5: Available for a short time from Müller, rush causes server problems

It's still incredibly difficult to buy a PS5. There are still problems with deliveries, and demand is still significantly greater than supply. With a bit of luck, however, you could get hold of a copy of the coveted Sony console this morning - in the online shop of the drugstore chain Müller.

There was apparently a small contingent of the PS5 available in the early hours of the morning. Some customers discovered the offer by sheer coincidence, but word of the find spread quickly. A little later, this led to an enormous run on Müller's website and the associated online shop. The consequence was a brief collapse of the online presence and extremely long loading times. In the meantime, the storm has subsided, which is mainly due to the fact that the very small contingent of the PlayStation 5 (buy now) is sold out. How many copies were available is not yet known. Whether and when further deliveries can be expected from Müller remains to be seen.

It is generally worthwhile to keep an eye on such shops, especially in the morning hours. It was recently reported that isolated sales campaigns could take place at dealerships this week. Here is a list:

Sony had only recently warned that this problem could possibly persist into 2022 - at least partially. PS5 Restock Update for Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Newegg, Amazon and More

Gamers looking to purchase a PlayStation 5 received good news on Thursday as Walmart restocked its supply.

At the time of writing the Disc Version of Sony's next-gen console is available on the retailer's website, while the Digital Version is still sold out. Adding to the positive news, further restocks at Target and Best Buy could land before the end of the week, according to TechRadar.

Here's a breakdown of the latest PS5 stock information from Target, Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, Antonline, PS Direct, and more.

Amazon PS5 Restock

Both versions of the PS5 remain out of stock at Amazon. A message on the retailer's website states Amazon does not know when, or if, the console will be back in stock.

Antonline PS5 Restock

The PlayStation 5 is still not available at Antonline, whose latest restock sold out on May 6. The retailer tends to announce its restocks on Twitter, so it's worth monitoring social media channels for updates.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

The PS5 is still out of stock at Best Buy, which last restocked its supplies on May 13. According to TechRadar, however, the retailer could release a restock as early as Thursday.

The PS5 remains out of stock at Costco, which last restocked the console in April. Following Twitter gaming accounts such as @Wario64 and @GYXdeals is a good way to keep up to date with news about future restocks.

The PS5 is out of stock at GameStop after the bundles it restocked on Wednesday quickly sold out.

The PS5 is still out of stock at Newegg, after the retailer ran out of bundles on Monday.

The PS5 is out of stock at PS Direct after the latest restock flew off the shelves last week. As with other retailers, it is worth following gaming accounts such as @Wario64 and @GYXdeals to remain updated on future restocks.

The PS5 remains out of stock at Target, which last restocked supplies on April 28. As is the case with Best Buy, TechRadar reported Target could make more consoles available before the end of the week.
