Black Ops Cold War & Warzone
Around the start of Season 3 in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, Activision is distributing another "free" bundle for PS Plus members on PS4 and PS5. With the "Comandante" combat package you can secure additional cosmetic items for the first person shooter. For example, it includes an epic operator skin for Garcia that you can use in Black Ops Cold War. For both Cold War and Warzone, the bundle brings an epic blueprint for an assault rifle, an epic weapon talisman, an epic emblem and an epic wrist accessory.PS Plus members also get a legendary business card with the Comandante package for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (buy now € 77.80 / € 53.99) and Warzone. The token included, which gives you double experience points in the first-person shooters for 60 minutes, is particularly appealing. To access the bundle, you need a paid PS Plus subscription: the annual membership costs around 60 euros. There are no additional costs for using the Combat Package for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’ Season 3 New Maps, Guns And Everything You Need To Know
Black Ops Cold War's third season kicks off with a bunch of new content.
Credit: ActivisionCall Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s third season kicks off tonight and there’s a ton of new content—including new maps, Operators, a new Battle Pass and more—to liven up the game after what was, honestly, a pretty fun Season 2.
Wednesday saw the destruction of the Warzone map, Verdansk. Season 3 will not only include a new Warzone map, but lots of new maps for multiplayer in Black Ops Cold War.
Here’s everything you need to know about Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3.
RoadmapAs you can see in the below roadmap, expect new maps both at the beginning of the season and during the season. New vehicles, game modes, killstreaks and weapons all land in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War as well.

Well, the good news is it isn’t that big of an update despite all the new content. You have to admit, Cold War just isn’t as bloated as Modern Warfare.

New MapsI’m always most excited about new maps when it comes to new seasons in Call Of Duty. New guns are fun, new Operators are fine and dandy, but new maps are what gets me hyped. I play a lot of Call Of Duty and you get bored with the same old maps after a while. (Oh for a modding community in this franchise!)
In any case, there are several new maps coming to Cold War in Season 3—some new and some remakes of classic maps. Let’s take a look.
Yamantau (6v6, Launch Week)

Battle through a massive downed satellite dish, snowy interiors, and broken catwalks, and fast-rope up and over your enemies to get the jump on the competition.”
I’m happy we’re getting another snowy map. This one looks really cool. One thing I like about Cold War over Modern Warfare is just how colorful and distinct each map is. Modern Warfare’s brown-and-grey aesthetic just isn’t as fun.
Diesel (6v6/2v2/3v3, Launch Week)

Credit: Activision“In the lonesome desert, this slice of Americana erupts into a battleground. Gear up for 6v6, as well as 2v2 and 3v3 in Gunfight on this fast-paced and frenetic map. Battle around the gas station and its surrounding buildings, smack dab in the middle of the badlands. Get frying.”
This map is set in New Mexico which is pretty rad. I’m an Arizonan but I love our neighbor to the east and their delicious green chilis and superb Mexican food. A trailer-park / gas station map that’s for 6v6 and Gunfight sounds great. Aesthetically it fits right in with Nuketown.
Standoff (6v6, in season)

Compete in 6v6 on this medium-sized map, which features a timeless three-lane feel and plentiful opportunities for outsmarting your opponents. First introduced in Black Ops 2, Standoff is a great mid-sized map that I remember enjoying a lot back in the day. Three lanes, plenty of different ways to play from long-range to CQB. Good times.
Duga (Multi-Team, in season)

Duga offers something for every playstyle, whether you prefer to move through the central admin offices for close-range battles, or work your way around the perimeter through the bus depot to the chemical processing plant for long-range battles. If you can’t immediately decide where to take your skills, try making your way atop the array tower for a fantastic view before parachuting off to your destination of choice.”
This map comes to multi-player midseason but will be an Outbreak mode in Zombies from the start, so if you’re a Zombies player that’s good news. Frankly, I maintain that the multi-team stuff is a distraction from the far more fun 6v6 and Gunfight modes but maybe that’s just me. It’s fine and I’ve had some fun with multi-team but it’s just not why I play the game.
New OperatorsWraith — Warsaw Pact (Launch)

Wraith is the Tier 0 Operator in the Season 3 Battle Pass. A special White Queen skin of Wraith will be one of the Tier 100 rewards along with the Roman Standard sniper blueprint and the Fortress Vehicle Skin (and the Season 3 emblem of course).
Knight — Warsaw Pact (In-season)

Antanov: Warsaw Pact (In-Season)

New GunsPPSh-41: SMG (Launch Week)
When you need to spit fire, pick up the PPSh-41 SMG, an absolute classic in the series. Though its damage per shot is moderate, its rapid-fire, high-capacity capabilities encourage an aggressive playstyle ideal for leading the charge in objective modes and clearing out tight spaces in Warzone.

Swiss K31: Sniper Rifle (Launch Week)
Precision and power. The Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle was made for one neutral country ready to rearm for world war, but will now find itself in the arsenals of the NATO and Warsaw Pact forces. This bolt-action sniper rifle boasts exceptional accuracy, as well as fast rechamber and aiming speeds with a large ammo capacity. Aggressive sharpshooters will be in their element with this new rifle, whether it’s sniping out in the wilds of Warzone or pushing forward on objectives in Black Ops Cold War.
Ballistic Knife: Melee (Launch Week)
A versatile weapon first introduced in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, this iteration of the Ballistic Knife is a rare piece of spy technology developed in the late 1970s by Soviet Forces.
The spring-action knife launcher can either be used as a melee weapon or to silently fire lethal retrievable blades. It is most effective at short ranges, but the most skilled Operators could theoretically land a deadly hit from extreme distances. Available in Black Ops Cold War at the launch of Season Three and in Warzone mid-season.
CARV.2: Tactical Rifle (In-Season)
Carve through the competition with this burst-fire tactical rifle, joining the ranks of the M16 with its high-damage, high-bullet-velocity output. Boasting moderate firepower with solid recoil control and a large ammo pool, the CARV.2 cuts the deepest when used for mid- to long-range engagements.
AMP63: Pistol (In-Season)
The Secondary category gets even deeper later in Season Three thanks to the AMP63 pistol. Slotting in as the fourth sidearm in Black Ops Cold War’s arsenal, this personal defense weapon is a cross between a self-loading pistol and a fully automatic SMG. Expect this weapon to output high amounts of damage in a short period of time thanks to its full-auto nature, which makes it highly effective in close quarters.
Other ContentBeyond all this, there’s the new Sticks and Stones mode where players only have crossbows, knives and tomahawks, making for a very different—much quieter—gameplay experience.
In Multi-Team the new Elimination mode arrives which brings some gameplay twists like expanding radiation, limited loadouts and more to the big team mode.
The new Scorestreak Strafe Run arrives as well. It’s a mid-tier streak that sounds pretty deadly.
