Samsung has surprisingly announced a new Unpacked event for April 28th. The launch of new products during the course of the year is nothing new for the South Korean manufacturer, however in this case the invitation definitely caught us off guard. The most powerful Galaxy ever is on the way, but what product is it?
The Samsung Galaxy S21 range hasn't even had time to reach a semester of life and the Korean company has already announced a new one Unpacked event for the announcement of the most powerful Galaxy ever. The event will be streamed online due to health emergency restrictions on April 28 at 4:00 pm.
The Galaxy S smartphone range, which represents the company's flagship family of products, it was announced just last January and it is therefore unlikely that Samsung will want to introduce a new device in that series. Also being able to overcome the already exaggerated Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra really seems an impossible feat at the moment.
As for the Galaxy Note, always seen as an improvement on the Galaxy S with the extra addition of the iconic S -Pen, it's too early. Historically, Galaxy Note announcements are held in late August or early September. In addition, the company has publicly stated that this year it is unlikely that we will be able to see a new Note due to the chip shortage that is hitting the hi-tech market.
Whether it's a Galaxy Tab? Also in this case, the company has always chosen a summer event for the launch and therefore, barring twists and turns, we exclude this possibility. There aren't many other Galaxy products to think about, considering that we doubt the "most powerful Galaxy" moniker can be used for a smartwatch.
In our opinion it could be a new product of the Galaxy Fold series. Are the much-rumored Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 finally coming? Looking at the animation of the cube that makes up the ad graphics, it could also be a Galaxy laptop. It would not be the first and the spread of laptops with ARM chips has been cleared after many years by Apple, which with its Macs equipped with M1 chips has opened the way to competition.
The latter hypothesis, however, would be discard if we want to take some ideas from the presentation video of the event. The box that is shown, in fact, would be really too small for a laptop.
At the moment we are not sure but we will not fail to keep you updated in case of future news. For now, the appointment is on the 28th of this month!
