The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on Switch
2021 marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo's beloved series. We know that the Kyoto company will celebrate this anniversary with the release of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD. Now, a well-known leaker claims that, in his opinion, Nintendo could go even further and may decide to publish The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mark.The speculation comes from NateDrake, reliable source of the Nintendo world. The leaker shared this idea in a recent podcast of his. According to what has been said, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask could be part of Nintendo's plans: for the moment, we specify, it does not seem to be information coming from a source internal to Nintendo, but only a speculation of the leaker. Speaking of an expert in the Nintendo world, however, his speculation is still interesting and worthy of attention.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D This isn't the first time we've heard about the arrival of old chapters of The Legend of Zelda in the Nintendo Switch version, but Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask had never been mentioned. Even if Nintendo is actually working on new versions of these games, it's impossible to say what kind of project it might be. One possibility would be a port of the original versions with increased resolution as happened with Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine (proposed within Super Mario 3D All-Stars), or porting of the remakes made for 3DS.
We repeat that this is speculation by a leaker: it is not official information. If something interesting is in development, E3 2021 could be a good time to announce it - we'll find out in about a month and a half. In the meantime, we report that Monolith Soft, co-developer of Breath of the Wild, is also expanding for Zelda.
