These creatures can not only be found in the wild, but also appear as bosses in raid battles and as rewards in field research projects. They each have a further development so that you can fill up your Pokédex a little. Furthermore, during Pokémon GO's Rival Week, you will meet the animal spirit form of Demeteros in raids of level 5, which you can grab. Also interesting is the global challenge, which is active throughout the duration of the event: the fans all over the world have the task of fighting a total of 40 million raids. If they manage to do that, they unlock twice the amount of trapped death dust as a reward for the duration of the event. Just one hour after the start of the event, the counter shows a little more than 4.2 million completed raids. Here is an overview of all other important points:
Pokémon known for rivalries like Kicklee, Nockchan, Makuhita, Meditie, Sengo, and Vipitis appear more often in the wild. These Pokémon hatch on 5 km eggs during the event: Machollo, Rabauz, Elekid, Magby, Makuhita, Meditie, Sengo and Vipitis. The raid battles are also taken over by rival Pokémon! Pokémon like Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Sengo and Vipitis appear there! In exclusive field research projects, you can encounter rival Pokémon such as Algitt and Scampisto. We were told that Team GO Rocket will take over more PokéStops during the event and also use more balloons. Source: Niantic

Catch Therian Forme Landorus in 'Pokemon Go.' NianticPOKEMON GO LANDORUS RAID COUNTERSLandorus is a Ground and Flying-type Pokémon, making it weak to just Water and Ice-type attacks. However, Ice-type moves will be four times as effective against the Legendary Pokémon, so we recommend bringing Pokémon that can use these attacks.
Pokémon Go has a number of Ice and Water-type Pokémon who can help take on Landorus, especially a few Megas.
Mega Gyarados and Blastoise are prime options for trainers looking to power up Water-type attacks against the Legendary. However, Mega Abomasnow is the best Mega Pokémon option to take on Landorus.
We do warn trainers to watch out for Therian Forme Landorus' attacks, which could include Rock and Fighting-type moves that Ice types are weak to.
There are a few Water-type Legendaries that can help you in battle, as well as some powerful and fast attacking Ice-types. Below is a list of the Pokémon and attacks trainers will want to consider taking into battle against Therian Forme Landorus.
