Eternals

Each passing day is one less day that separates us from Eternals, the new Marvel movie, which promises to be even bigger than Avengers Endgame. For now, however, we have seen almost nothing of the Disney film, other than a few scattered images. Now, thanks to a series of artwork, we have the opportunity to see some small details, precisely we have the opportunity to see some of the Celestials that will be present in the film.

You can for example see both Nezarr and Calculator in the tweet here under. Marvel president Kevin Feige previously said the Celestials' role in the Eternals movie will be important. "We got to see a few of the Celestials in Guardians of the Galaxy. Knowhere is the severed head of a Celestial. And yes, Celestials will be shown in their maximum potency within Eternals."

Eternals will be directed by Chloé Zhao, who called the film one of Marvel's riskiest. After all, we are talking about a film that will feature multiple characters unknown to the public and alter the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it is understandable that Zhao considers it a "risky" film.

We also recently discovered that the director is still finishing the editing of the Marvel movie.

New ETERNALS Promo Art Gives Us Our Best Look Yet At Celestials Nezaar, Hargen And Jemiah

Marvel has yet to release any official stills or posters for Eternals (they can't be too far away), but because the movie was originally supposed to hit theatres last November before being pushed back by a full year, promo and merchandise art continues to find its way online.

This latest artwork gives us arguably our best look yet at some of The Celestials, the ancient entities with incredibly powerful matter and energy manipulation abilities who existed long before the MCU's galaxy began to take shape. Here, we see Hargen the Measurer, Jemiah the Analyzer and Nezaar the Calculator.

Director Chloe Zhao recently revealed a surprising source of inspiration for the film's action sequences: Alejandro Iñárritu's 2015 Revisionist Western, The Revenant.

“Well, there’s multiple films for Eternals. I had to assign a few because of the scale of the film. But I think for the action sequences, which I just had such a great time working on with such a great team, I wanted to reference The Revenant a lot,” Zhao told The Playlist. 'The Revenant is a film that I love so much. And I think we’ve watched The Revenant so many times, every meeting when we come to our action sequences because most of those sequences are shot on location. And I love how immersive and the way how you feel the dash and sequences in The Revenant. It’s definitely a film that we aspire to. And Marvel really, really supported that idea and really went for it.”

Well, consider us even more intrigued! Zhao's latest film, Nomadland, is up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, and with good reason. If you haven't seen it yet, it's well worth checking out.

The cosmic superhero adventure stars Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as the cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayak as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as the aloof Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harrington will also appear as Dane Whitman, aka Black Knight.

Marvel Studios' Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.

Marvel's Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 4.
