Call of duty Warzone: Something strange happens on Rebirth Island

Call of duty Warzone: Something strange happens on Rebirth Island

Call of duty Warzone

We are almost there, a few more hours and Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War fans will be able to enter Season 3. To accompany them there will be a whole series of news that will be distributed starting from tomorrow 22 April until the next few weeks. In the meantime, however, some players have discovered that some news are already present within the battle royale set in the COD universe.

Going into the details of the matter, it seems that in these moments something strange is happening within the Rebirth Island map. The first to notice the oddities recorded what happened and then posted it online, with several accounts that are taking these videos around the world via Twitter. As we are told, the monitors inside the HQ and Nova 6 area of Rebirth Island have all turned on mysteriously.

This could be one of the first signs preceding the arrival of Season 3. On the other hand, the new season of Call of Duty Warzone is less and less missing, but it is not yet clear what clue the sudden turning on of all the TVs within some areas of Rebirth Island may refer. We know that Verdansk will most likely be razed to the ground, but what fate will this second map inserted in Warzone follow?

It is difficult to find a certain answer to this question, and also the community for the moment does not seem to have yet found any clues that lead anywhere. Monitors, in fact, do nothing but tune in to a dead frequency that shows nothing of significance, at least for the moment. We just have to wait a few more hours, and finally we will be able to enter Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.

Waiting to know the fate of Warzone, in the meantime you can buy the latest COD Black Ops Cold War on Amazon at this address.

Activision has already confirmed Call of Duty Season 3 is incoming.

The new season officially launches on April 22 – that’s tomorrow.

We’ve already learned much about what we’ll see, including new maps, weapons and Operators.

But a Twitter leak named WarzoneNews has leaked alleged details about a Warzone revamp.

It reiterates previous leaks that Call of Duty Warzone is moving to a 1980s theme after a “nuke” event.

And it suggests that there are as many as six new “points of interest” in the new version of Verdansk.

Superstore and its surroundings have reportedly been transformed with an ‘80s theme.

Port is said to have a new design.

And Downtown is expected to remain largely the same, but with an “‘80s theme/construction theme”.

The leaker adds that Downtown will have more entrances into buildings.

Of course, Activision hasn’t confirmed these details – and likely won’t until an official announcement.

Until then, take all leaks and rumours with due caution.

So what’s already confirmed about Season 3? Plenty, apart from reported changes to Verdansk.

There are new Operators, with Wraith landing in launch week.

And there are four new multiplayer maps incoming.

There’s Yamantau in launch week, which is a 6v6 map set at the crumbled remains of a Soviet observatory.

There’s also Diesel, which offers 6v6 gameplay as well as 2v2 and 3v3 Gunfights.

Standoff is another 6v6 map, but the Black Ops 2 remake won’t arrive until mid-season.

And then there’s Duga, a Multi-Team map coming in-season – set in the Ural Mountains.

There are new vehicles, Zombies content and more coming too.
