Among the new releases of March 2021 for PC and Microsoft consoles, we also find the final chapter of the epic that saw the Dragon of Dojima as the protagonist.

As promised by SEGA, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is indeed available today - Thursday 25 March - on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. This debut within the Microsoft videogame ecosystem goes hand in hand with the game's instant entry into the catalog of titles available to subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass service. From now on, therefore, users who use the verdecrociato service will be able to immerse themselves in the title at no additional cost. For PC users, we would like to point out the details regarding the minimum and recommended requirements for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.

Launched in 2018, the SEGA production sees players return to the shoes by Kazuma Kiryu, engaged in a new attempt to retreat to a life of peace. His intent, however, will have to clash with the mysterious disappearance of Haruka, the adopted daughter entrusted to the care of an orphanage. On his trail, the now mature man will return to Kamurocho, where two shocking news awaits him, which will prompt him to move to the coastal city of Onomichi, in Hiroshima prefecture. Here too, however, the Yakuza awaits him.

Yakuza 6

It’s a day for high-profile titles on Xbox Game Pass. After Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler, Sega’s Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is now available for Game Pass subscribers on PC and console. With this addition, the entire mainline Yakuza series is now available on Xbox One and PC. Steam users will see the game available today at 4 PM GMT/9 AM PST on the storefront.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life sees Kazuma Kiryu out of prison (again), only to find that Haruka has gone missing. After finding her in a coma following a hit-and-run accident, Kiryu seeks to discover the truth while also caring for Haruka’s son Haruto. Though sporting familiar locations like Kamurocho, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life makes a number of changes to exploration and combat.

It also marks the debut of the series’ Dragon Engine, which would be used for Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Judgment. Check out our review here to learn more about the title. Along with Xbox One and PC, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is also available on PS4.
